We're proud to announce the first of our Class sponsors for the 2022 Men's Nationals - Countrygas Ltd will be sponsoring Class 4.
Countrygas is a family run independent cellar gas supplier based in East Yorkshire covering the east and north of Yorkshire, The company was originated in 1988 and now specialises in co2 and co2/n2 mixed gases to the pub trade and any business with a licenced bar, we can also supply welding gas and helium gas.
Ian Thompson the owner has been involved with his brother Neil in autograss since 1985 and the family has raced the same number Y19 since 1987 with Ash Thompson, Ian's nephew, now at the wheel. In the 80s Ian raced a class 4 Hillman Imp and went on to win multiple championships and competed in the men's nationals over many years. The biggest result for Ian was the life long friendships from all over the Uk that resulted from his interest in the sport.
